Protein Holiday Donuts

Ingredients :

  • 1 scoop iso - vanilla ice cream 
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup monkfruit (or any sweetner) 
  • ½ cup applesauce
  • ¼ cup nondairy milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • *Optional : 2 tablespoons sprinkles
  • *Optional for topping : melted dark chocolate or glaze (made with 0 calories icing sugar and milk)

 

Preparation :

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Pour the mixture into a donut pan
  3. In a bowl melt the butter
  4. Add the monk fruit sweetener, apple sauce
  5. Add in the dry ingredients alternately with the milk
  6. Bake for 15 mins
  7. Wait 10-15 minutes before adding the topping and unmould
