Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies

  • ā…” cupĀ Non-hydrogenated shortening, softened (or butter)
  • ā…” cupĀ monk fruit sweetener
  • 2Ā large egg
  • 2 tspĀ vanilla extract
  • 1 cupĀ blanched almond flour
  • Ā½ cupĀ Yummy Sports Dark ChocolateĀ Protein PowderĀ or any other flavor
  • 1 tspĀ baking soda
  • Ā½ tspĀ salt
  • Ā½ cupĀ dark chocolate chips



  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shortening (or butter) and sweetener.Ā  Mix well.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla and mix.
  3. Add in almond flour, our awesome protein powder, baking soda and salt.Ā  Mix well.
  4. HeatĀ oven to 350 degrees F.
  5. Fold chocolate chips into the batter.
  6. You can add pecans if you want (optional).
  7. Scoop cookie dough onto baking sheet.Ā  Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. After that time, check with a toothpick in the center of the cookie. If you're making large cookies, it may take about 2 minutes longer than if you're making small cookies.
  8. Remove cookies from oven.Ā  Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire cooling rack.
  9. Now it's time to enjoy ! šŸ¤—
  10. Store in the fridge or freezer.
